Willie Severson Life and Times

Willie James (Bro) Severson was a resident of Dothan AL. He passed on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Visitation will be Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 4-6pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11AM at the Georgette L Scott Memorial Chapel 814 Headland Ave, burial will follow at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery under the direction of the caring staff at Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary "Because We Care".

Willie was preceded in death by his son Zackery Jermaine Severson and three sisters, Betty Joyce Severson, Louise Severson-West, and Joanne Severson-Bryant. Survivors left to cherish his memories include: Wife, Annie Lee Severson, one brother, James Carroll, his children Gregory Dewayne Severson (Lizzie Burkes), James Carlos Severson, Natalie Nicole Townsend (Terrence Townsend), and Tameka Ann Severson and Grandchildren Naquel McIntyre, Zamyia McIntyre, Wesley McLeod, Ajayziah Beacham, Dezmon Severson, Keyana Severson, Jasmine Severson, and Terrence “TJ” Townsend and one Great grand child Royal McIntyre. Willie also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and a life-long friend Lonnie C. Barnes.
