Willie Raymond Carroll Jr

Willie Raymond Carroll, Jr. was born July 19, 1936 to the late Willie Raymond Carroll, Sr. and Erie May Carroll Jackson.
 

Willie departed this life on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Henry County Health and Rehab in Abbeville, Alabama.
 

At a very early age he accepted Christ and joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Webb, AL. Later in life he moved his membership to Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Newville, AL. He loved Gospel Quartet Singing. He started singing at an early age and all his life until his health failed. 

Willie was member of these Gospel Quartet Groups. The Royal Harmonizers, The Bibletones, The Rising Stars and The Spiritual Land Gospel singers. He was devoted and dependable farmer until his health forced him to retire. 
 

Willie was a loving and devoted husband to his soul mate: Neva Jean Carroll. They were joined in marriage on October 29, 1955 for over sixty-two years, and were inseparable until God called him home.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters: Willie Jean Carroll and Sharon Denise Bennett; a son: Willie Charles Carroll; five brothers and two sisters.
 

He leaves to cherish his memories, an loving wife: Neva Jean Carroll; children: Patricia Rhodes of Dothan, AL, Ray (Vicky) Carroll of Blakely, GA, Ronnie (Mary) Carroll of Woodbridge, VA, Tammie and Deborah  Carroll of Headland, AL, Gloria Bennett of Newville, AL; daughter-in-law: Joyce Carroll of Newville, AL; siblings: Leslie Faulk of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jesse Carroll of Webb, AL; brothers and sister-in-law: Betty (Earl) Fields of Newville, AL, Ann (L.B.) Murphy of Phoenix City, AL, Solomon Morris of Dothan, AL, Annie  Ruth Carroll of Dothan, AL, Lizzie Carroll of Dothan, AL; god daughter: Joyce Rhodes of Headland, AL and Deborah Graham of Newville, AL; a special friends: Jessie (Audrey) Ingram of Headland, AL and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
