William Holmes

Willie Holmes was born June 3, 1937 in North Little Rock, AR to the late James Holmes and Emma Jackson Holmes.
Willie accepted Christ at an young age and attended New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama. 
He received his education in the North Little Rock Arkansas School System. He served his country in the US Army. His favorite time and thing to do is cook for his family when were all together.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Emma Jackson Holmes; father: James Holmes; two brothers: Henry Lawson and Albert Harris; one sister: Emma Jean Holmes; one great granddaughter: Ja’ Miyah Towns.
He leaves to cherished his memories a devoted wife: Queen Blade Holmes; one son: Anthony (Phyllis) Holmes; extended family: Jryson, Beverly, Diane, Sabrenia, and Debra; ten grandchildren: Patrick Holmes, Precilla, Brittany, Selena, Tarasha, Maranda, Cortez, Issac and Cornelius all of Dothan, AL and Detarian of Tennessee; seven great grand's; one sister: Betty (Vernon) Anderson of Wichita, Kansas; one step son: Jason Harris; step daughters: Beverly  Harris, Debra Harris and Sabrenia Harris; a very special cousin: Nancy Stroud of North Little Rock, AR; one special friend: Calvin Cobb and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
