Wesley Bonds

Mr. Wesley Bonds was born August 4, 1921 in Red Level, Alabama to the late Caldonia (Culver) Bonds and Carl Bonds.

Mr. Wes grew up in Headland, Alabama. Mr. Wes is a World War II veteran after the end of his service he returned back to the states where he held numerous jobs. July 23, 1951 he married Lillie Turner and moved to Ashford. To this union they raised four children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter, three sister, one brother, two grandchildren, two great grands, one great great great grands.

He leaves to cherish his memories one Byron (Ruthie) Bonds of Burksville, Alabama; three daughters: Mae Grigg of Great Neck, New York, Elaine (Joe) Melton of Gordon, Alabama, Edith Bonds of Ashford, Alabama; nine grandchildren, one god granddaughter, eighteen great grands, twenty-one great great grands, four sister-in-law: Lillie Rene Bonds of Dothan, Alabama, Rachel Veil of Hartford, CT, Margret Murphy of Bellwood, Lena Jones of Chicago, Ill. two brother-in-law: Edward Turner and Albert Jones of Dothan, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
