Rosetta Owens

Rosetta Thomas Owens was born to the late Willie C. and Annie Mae Thomas on April 1,1953 in Headland, Alabama.

Rosetta graduated from Headland High School. She received her bachelors degree from Alabama State University in 1978. She pursued a career as a computer analyst in the United States Air Force. She returned home and worked several different jobs. She retired from Houston County Sheriff's Department after 20 years of service. She was active in the ministry of gospel for over 35 years. She has traveled to India and Mexico as a missionary with David Terrell Revivals. She encouraged many to go out and do work for the lord.

She is survived by four brothers, three sisters, eight nephews, five nieces, and twenty-three great nieces and nephews.

She indeed fought a good fight, finished her course, and kept the faith. I Timothy 4:7
