Robert Louie Powe

Mr. Robert Powe, age 84, of Kinsey, Alabama passed away Monday, December 9, 2019.

Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2019 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11 AM at Patterson Street Freewill Baptist Church.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Mr. Robert Powe was born July 6, 1935 to the late Lewis and Alice Powe. He departed the this life December 9th, 2019.

Mr. Robert Powe accepted Christ at an early age and later served as a Deacon until his death at Patterson St. FWBC Dothan, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parent, one sister, Gelane Cross; two brothers: David Mathis, Roland Powe, one step-son: James Nathan Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of thirty-one years: Virginia Powe, three daughters: LahRhonda Faye Jackson (Paul), LaShonda Ann Hall (LaMar), and Tamika Lanette Dawkins (Doug); two step-daughters: Brenda Marie Griffin (Charles and Kathleen Dunning; five sons: Robert Louie Powe, Jr. (Nora), Ricky Ray Powe (Shalinda), Danny Jay Powe (Sadie Mae), Michael Tyrone Powe (Pam), Louie Anthony Powe (Michelle), One step-son: Charles "Sambo" Harris; one sister: Mary Moore; three brothers: Willie D. Powe, Charlie T. Powe, and Lee Edward Powe. Thirty grand kids, thirty-eight great grand kids, four great great grand kids, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and the many friends will hold the memories of him.
