Mother Ruby Fanniel’s  life reflected the image of Christ.  She loved the Lord and was faithful, faithful until her death.  She was a true laborer and hard working missionary.  She was always ready to help friends and family.  Ruby was the kind of person that would encourage you and let you know you needed to let Christ come into your life.

Mother Ruby Fannie was blessed of the Lord to unite in holy matrimony with the late Elder Johnny Fanniel, Sr. For more than thirty years they shared a love for each other second to none. They were always seen together as a couple attending local, district and jurisdictional church functions. She modeled submission, longsuffering and unconditional love to her husband. They had a nursing home and jail ministry.

Mother Ruby Fanniel was a member of CGC for almost 25 years. She was a liberal and faithful supporter in both word and deed.  Mother served as a District Missionary, local CWC/ YWCC President, Sunday School Teacher, Prayer Warrior, Mother’s Board President at CGC and on the CGC Board of Directors.  Mother Fanniel loved Pastor and First Lady Ways and their children.

Missionary Fanniel did not meet strangers. She believed in helping those that could not help themselves, providing mother wit, and God’s word in all that she did. She loved being in God’s house rejoicing with the saints shouting, praising the Lord and having a time in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our beloved Mother Ruby F. Fanniel leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter,  grandchildren, great-grandchildren, god children, siblings, Pastor and First Lady Ways and  Christian Gospel Center Church of God in Christ.

Mother Missionary Ruby F. Fanniel was loved by many.  Our loss is truly heaven’s gain.
