Mertis Hall

Mrs. Mertis Hall-Brown was born January 22, 1970 in Henry County, Alabama to the late C.W. Hall and Bernice Hall.

At a very young age she joined the Center Baptist Church, later in her adult years she joined Wings of Deliverance under the leadership of James Bowers where she remained a member until death. She joined Timothy Dewayne Brown in Holy Matrimony on January 21, 1994. Mertis was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was a perfect example of "Love in Action". She showed us every day through her actions and her unique kind of love. She was a loyal member of her community, unselfishly helping others anytime there was a need.

She was preceded in death her parents; four sisters; and five brothers.

On Saturday, December 22, 2018, Mertis was called home by her heavenly father. She leaves to cherish to her memories her loving and devoted husband: Timothy Brown of Dothan, Alabama; one daughter: Brittney McDaniel of Dothan, Alabama; four sisters: Shirley Reynolds of Dothan, Alabama, Betty Walker of Headland, Alabama, Jennie (James) Hollis of Melvin, Florida, and Pasty (Terrell) Harper of Dothan, Alabama; four brothers: Eddie James (Shirley) Hall of Dothan, Alabama, Augusta (Yvonne) Hall of Naples, FL, Willie Earl (Debbie) Hall of Dothan, Alabama and Joe (Nancy) Hall of Buffalo, NY; special aunt: Bernice Harper; mother-in-law: Minnie Ola Brown; two brother-in-law: Terry (Demetris) Hill of Atlanta, Georgia, Ricky (Janice) Brown of Dothan, Alabama; two granddaughter: Kennedi McIntyre and Makayla McIntyre; one grandson: Kaleb Johnson; one special nephew: Christopher Harper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
