Martha Thompson Rouse was born on December 22, 1940 to the late Otho and Martha Thompson in Houston County, Alabama.
Martha accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Houston County School. She was married the late Leo Jackson in 1957. To this union four daughters and one son was born. After his passing Martha move to Florida in 1960. Where she meet and marred in 1972 Mr. Kenneth Rouse who she love until death. She was a Christian hearted woman who was very devoted to her church and her family.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents: Otho and Martha Thompson; two daughters: Mary Nell and Linda Jackson; three sisters: Maggie Ruth, Emma Oliver, and Janic Thompson; one brother: Robert Earl Thompson.
She departed this life on Thursday, May 30, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She will never be forgotten and always remember with loved.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Kenneth Rouse, two daughters: Brenda Jackson and Lisa Jackson Carroll (Donnie) of Dothan, Alabama; son: Leo Jackson, Jr. (Jamon) of Birmingham, Alabama; fourteen grandchildren, nine grandchildren and two great-great grand; five sisters: Mary (Curtis) Bryant of Dania, Florida, Rosa Ann Bryant and Ruby Griffin of Dothan, Alabama, Emma Thompson and Martha Jewel Curry of Headland, Alabama; four brothers: Otho Thompson, Jr. an Lee (Sherry) Thompson of Boston, MA, Roger Thompson of Dothan, Alabama, Willie Earl Thompson of Atmore, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends which include Pamela Goldwire whom she consider her daughter.
