Marcia Faye Cobb was the last born to the late Mr. Robert L. Cobb Sr., and Mrs. Leola Cooper Cobb on July 4, 1960. She was affectionately known as Faye or Faye Cobb by all who knew her. She confessed early in life and united with the Mt. Silla Missionary Baptist Church.
She was educated in the Bullock County School System and graduated Bullock County High School in the Class of 1978. She attended Tuskegee University, Tuskegee Institute, Alabama and graduated from Massey Draughon Business College in Nursing, Montgomery, Alabama.
Faye’s father, Mr. Robert L. Cobb Sr, her brothers’ Robert Cobb Jr. and Jerome Cobb, her sister Constance Cobb Faniel preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her three children: LaKesha J. Cobb, Courtney D. Cobb and Justin L. Cobb, all of Troy, AL, her mother: Mrs. Leola Cooper Cobb, Union Springs, AL; two sisters: Ramona Cobb Robinson and Alfreda Cobb Scott-Meeks, Union Springs, AL; five grandchildren: DeAndre S. Pitts, Farmville, VA, Nathan Pitts, Fort Davis, AL, Derrius L. Northcutt, Troy, AL, Kayleigh D. Cobb, Brundidge, AL, Caleb A. Cobb Troy, AL; two great grandchildren: Jamarious and Jameria; three aunts: Bertha C. Alexander, Union Springs, AL; Fannie C. Smith, Birmingham, AL; and Eula Pruitt Hurtsboro, AL, one uncle: Curtis (Mary) Cooper; Union Springs, AL; three nieces: Adrianne Crawford, Dothan, AL, Jamelia A. Scott, Montgomery, AL, LaSadria Robinson, Union Springs, AL; four nephews: Stanley (LaKisha) Davis, Columbia, South Carolina, James A. (Zeshia)Scott, Union Springs, AL, Jeremy Owens, Union Springs, AL; Samuel Crawford, Troy, AL; Kendarius Robinson, Union Springs, AL; Great nieces and nephews: Quinnence Parham, Shontae, Keisha, Stanley Jr., Kimberianna, Stantavious, Justin, James, Jayla, Kaleigh, ZyKendra, Don, Mellanie, Jade, Zayla, Zacharria and Aniayia.
