Lula Mae (Eford) Debose

Mrs. Lula Mae Debose was the oldest child born May 19, 1922 in Barbour County, to the Late Pearl and Nettie Mae Eford.  
 

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Graham Debose.  She attended Barbour County Schools.  She was the Mother of the Church, which she loved.  She departed this life on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at home.  “Well Done thy good and faithful servants”.
 

She was preceded in death by two sons, Willie James Debose and Hubert Debose; two brothers, Pearl and Charles Ray Eford, and one sister, Lessie Redmond.
 

She leaves to cherish in her memory five daughters: Helen (Wiley B. Sr.) Dawsey of Dothan, AL, Hazel Debose Guice, Lula (Charles) Vickers of Dothan, AL, Christine (Ray) Doss of Dothan, AL; Two sons: George Debose of Dothan, AL, and Graham (Sarah) Debose of Dothan, AL.  Two sisters: Margie Person of Clayton, AL and Emma L. Lightburn of Tallahassee. FL.  Special grandsons George Jr. and Billy G. Debose, a special nephew Jerome Persons, a special daughter-in-law Josephine Debose.  A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
