Mrs. Linda Gail Hollis, was born on July 20, 1950 to the late Joe and Irene Greayerin Dothan, AL.
At an early age Gail attended Stranger Street Methodist Church in Dothan, Alabama. Later in life after she married Gail joined Greater Eternal Light Church in Dothan, Alabama where she received the gift of the taught Holy Ghost. Sunday school and helped with communion. Gail graduated with honors from Carver High School in 1969 where she was 4th in her class. She completed a year at Tuskegee University . Also, she received an associate degree in computer science from Wallace Community College. On April 15, 1988, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to James L. Hollis to which one daughter was born. She also have two sons from previous relationships. Gail worked at Ansell, Sony, and Dothan manufacturing Co. until she became disabled. She had a passion for shopping. She loved her shoes of there was a pair of shoes that she liked if it came in different colors she bought them all. She loved to wear gold jewelry.
Gail departed this life on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at her home in Rehobeth, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, two nephews, and a special friend.
She leaves to mourn: her loving husband: James Lamar Hollis; one daughter: Tiffany Hope of Dothan, Alabama; five grandchildren: Montez, Tiana, Laquita, Larishia and Jeremy Pope II (Jr); two sister: Annie P. (Thomas L.) Pearson of Chicago, IL and Shirley Bryant of Dalesville, Alabama; best friends: Nancy Reed and Barbara Jackson of Dothan, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
