Leroy Satcher

Leroy “Joe” Satcher of Dothan, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

Leroy was born in Ashford, Alabama on December 3, 1935 to the late Grant and Votie Satcher.

He attended Carver High School. After graduating from High School he joined the Navy and retired in San Diego, California. He was a caring grandfather and nothing meant more to him than his three granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Charles Satcher; and one sister: Nora Lee Satcher Jones.

Nothing meant more to him than his daughter, Sepora Satcher of Dothan, Alabama and three granddaughters: SeOddra Satcher, SinaSamoa Satcher and SiauLelei Satcher of San Diego, California; two sisters: Ethell Ellis (Isaiah) of Jacksonville, Florida and Winnie Fennell (Kenneth) of Newport News, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
