Katie (Fryer) McKenzie

Katie McKenzie was born December 30, 1928 to the late Fate Fryer and Nellie Fryer .
 

Katie accepted Christ at an young age and attended North Highland Missionary Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama. She received her education in Barbour County. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Reverend Willie McKenzie; one son: Willie Jr. and twin boys: Larry and Barry; four brothers: John Fryer, James Fryer, Eddie Fryer and J.C.; two sisters: Lucinda Miller and Willie May McCloud.
 

She leaves to cherished her memories five children: Verna (Rubin) Riddlesprigger, Betty (Lonnie) Wright, Brenda (Daniel) Reynolds, Myra McKenzie all of Dothan, Alabama, Evelyn Kennard of Albany, Georgia; special daughter: Barbra Daniels; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-four great grand's; nineteen great-great grand's; two sister-in-laws: Cora Lee McKenzie of Dothan, Alabama and Pearl McKenzie of Caryville, Florida; a extended family special thanks to the Bibb Gunter Family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
