Jimmy Farmer was a great and true example of a wonderful family man and husband. His love and devotion for Teresa was unmatched. In his presence we witnessed what it was to have compassion, a good sense of humor, and love for extended family. We are better citizens because he lived.

Mr. Farmer was always a great mentor and exceptional guidance and counsel for all my woes and troubles. He kept me focused in education and life. He let me use his car in the 70's to get my driver's license, he helped me get past a very hard class in college and he kept my dog(Akido) while i served a work mission in South Korea. He loved that dog so much, I let him keep him. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Farmer and Monica, Love you all, Almon Jr!

I can still see his smile during our last family reunion. He had been trying, for years, to convince me to attend. I am glad he did! When I walked over to him, he had a smile that seemed to say, "I did it!" His persistence, which he always possessed, again, proved successful. I am so glad that God allowed us to be "family." It saddens me when I think of not seeing him, here on earth, yet my heart rejoices when I think about our "heavenly" reunion. Family, we are so blessed to have had him in our lives. Your cousin, Carolyn Perry

Mother Farmer and Family, I was sorry to learn of Deacon Farmer’s transition from this life, yet I realize that he has gone to a perfect place. I thank God that my life crossed his path. Because Deacon Farmer lived, and because I knew him for a few years, I am a better man than I was when I met him and experienced his Christianity and love. I equally thank God for you, Monica, and family. During these difficult days, please keep in mind that a perfect God does not make mistakes and a perfect God is ever present with you. You are in my prayers. Thomas Ball

My deepest sympathy to the family. It's not easy to cope with losing a love one in death, but their is hope, that you can see your love one again. God gives us that hope from his word the Bible, which is found at John 5:28,29.
