Jerry Williams Reynolds

Mr. Jerry Reynolds, age 66, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019.  Visitation will be Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.  Funeral service will be Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11 AM at Georgette L. Scott's Memorial Chapel, 814 Headland Avenue Dothan, Alabama 36303.

Jerry Williams Reynolds was born October 29, 1952 to the late Orell Hollis and Evelyn Key.  He met and married Linda Danzey in June of 1973 and lovingly raised three children: Dana, Brandy and Jerri.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with New Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Norman Frye.  He loved to worship and fellowship while attending church.  He loved fishing and cooking.  He also loved to laugh, dance and have a good time with family.  He was very unique and stylish with his wardrobe.

Jerry was called home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: David Key and one sister: Shirley Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory three children: Dana Reynolds, Brandy Reynolds, and Jerri Reynolds; grandchildren: Descheun, Dahquez, Vontae, Dajanae, ZaKeira, Jharvis, Trinity, Michael, Mikhail and Majestie; brothers: Jerome Key, Jimmy Key, Hardy Key and Edward Key; sisters: Angie Felton, Clara Boothe and Ruby Key-Wright; five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
