Jeoffrye Lee was born on September 21, 1956 to the late Lawrence Lee and Clara Lee Tillman. Born and raised in the Liberty/Kansas City, Missouri area.
After graduating from DE LaSalle High School, Jeoffrye joined the United States Army, serving for eight years, receiving many awards for his outstanding performances and achievements as a Military Police and Fire Fighter. He furthered his career with the Government employed as a Civil Service employee as a Fire Fighter, retiring after 33 years of combined service. Jeoffrye is known for working two and three jobs at a time. In 1999, with pride he started his own company, Lee services, providing services to banks and engineering firms. He set an example and instilled in his family, the world owes you nothing, you have to work twice as hard to succeed.
After 26 years in the Tampa Bay Area, Jeoffrye moved his family to Ozark, Alabama. He became a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully until his illness and eventual death.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Wanda Estell and La Gynnea Lee.
Jeoffrye leaves to cherished his memories his wife: Anna Williams; his son: Antone (Juanita) Williams; three daughters: Robin (Larry) Gay, Jalessa Lee and Crystal Lee; one grandson: Charles Bell; two brothers: Royce (Ruth) Turner, Reggie (Brenda) Perry; two sisters: Brenda Marshall and Angela Perry; three brother-in-law's: Dr. J. Henry (Janice L.) Williams, Richard (Lori) Williams and Alonzo (Janice M.) Williams; four sister-in-law's: Johnnie (Ronnie) Eubanks, Shirelene Williams, Deborah Williams and Meadie Williams, extended family Chris Thompson (daughter, Jaziya) and Edith Flanning, devoted friends: Deborah Giglio and Evelio Penalver and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and fellow fire fighters.
