Jelan Juwan Salter

His Beginning: Jalen Salter was born on May 14, 1992 to Andrew and Macie Salter. 

His Church: Jalen accepted Christ at an early age and joined Acts Christian Center.

His Education: Jalen was graduate from Northview High School in 2011.

He Enjoyed: Jalen enjoy spending time with his girls and loved Alabama football. He believed in working and taking care of his family.

His Ascension to Heaven: Jalen departed this life on February 27, 2019.

His Family who preceded in death: Jalen was preceded in death by his grandparents: Trimma Lee (James) Butler of Dothan, Alabama, and Andrew Lewis Salter of Newville, Alabama.

Left to Cherish His Memory: His two beautiful daughters: Macey Greye Salter (Brittany Batechlor) of Headland, Alabama and Blair Elizabeth Kelley Salter of Dothan, Alabama; his mother: Macie Salter of Napier Field, Alabama; his father: Andrew L. Salter, Jr. of Headland, Alabama; his sister: Britney Butler; his grandmother: Corinne Salter of Headland, Alabama; two nephews: Ethan Burkett and Elijah Butler; seven aunts: Joyce Ann Dawsey of Dothan, Alabama, Sharon (Maurice) Harris of Cowarts, Alabama, Jessie (Sam) Williams of Dothan, Alabama, Mary (Rick) Wiggins of Abbeville, Alabama, Clara (Travis) Salter of Webb, Alabama, Betty (Johnnie) Thomas of Kinsey, Alabama and Fredia Salter of Ozark, Alabama; four uncles: Larry Butler of Dothan, Alabama, James Butler of Saginaw, Michigan, Charles Butler of Dothan, Alabama and Joseph (Jackie) Butler of Dothan, Alabama; three close cousins: Jessica Lamar, Jermi Rabb of Dothan, Alabama and Chavis Reeves of Webb, Alabama; two close friends: Greg Underwood and Jeremy Jackson; and a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.
