Henry Edward Reynolds, 76, of Wicksburg, Alabama, departed from time and entered into eternity on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
Henry (fondly referred to by his family as “Pap”) was born in Headland, Alabama on October 3, 1941. He left this earthly life to join his son, Veandes Reynolds, his brother, Charlie Reynolds and his parents, Henry and Mary Reynolds in eternal rest.
“Pap” was a quiet, simple, yet strong man who ‘believed in work, hard work and long hours of work’. He spent most of his life in the great outdoors farming the land, planting and harvesting, pulp wooding and hunting. For many, many years, he passionately enjoyed singing and listening to gospel music.
“Pap” leaves to mourn his faithful wife of 56 years, Annie Carolyn Bryant Reynolds of Wicksburg, Alabama. From this union, he will be lovingly remembered by six children, Terry Reynolds, Dothan, Alabama, Willie (Joann)Reynolds of Ashford, Alabama, Clara Baker, Steve (Diana) Reynolds, Minnie Reynolds and Howard Reynolds, Dothan, Alabama. and special supporting friends, Mary West, Cleveland Thomas and Cleveland Ford. Eight loyal sisters: Jewell Cooper of Orlando, Florida, Pearl (Max)Gordon of Dothan, Alabama, Willie Mae Clark of Midland City, Alabama, Margie Lennear of Malvern, Alabama, Esther (David) McCall of Malvern, Alabama, Wissie Reynolds Of Dothan Alabama, Betty (Jerry) Johnson of Slocomb, Alabama and Daisy (J.T.) Brooks of Slocomb, Alabama. One Aunt, Virginia Green of Orlando, Florida, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
