Gary Duvall Ward

Gary was born on December 24, 1958 in Dothan, Alabama to Alice  Grubbs-Ward and the late Jerome Ward. 
 

His family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he grew up and was educated and graduate from the Ft. Lauderdale High School. They returned to Alabama, where he had several jobs and where he was employed with Mazda of Enterprise, Alabama as a salesman he really loved his job and meeting new people.
 

He accepted Christ and became a member of the Cherry Street AME Church in Dothan, Alabama where he was a member of the choir. He was a big sport fan and  loved the South Carolina Clemson Tigers. He will be raving over the win over Alabama Crimson Tide.
 

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and his uncle.
 

Gary passed away on January 6, 2019 at the age of sixty. 
 

Gary will be fondly remembered by his loving mother: Alice Farmer of Dothan, Alabama; son: LaRon Ward of Atlanta, Georgia; one daughter: Tiamikia Ward of Hollywood, Florida; a brother: Jerry Ward of Dothan, Alabama; two sisters: Shelia Giles of Charleston, South Carolina and Stephanie Mack of Atlanta, Georgia; one uncle: Ricky Miller of Dothan, Alabama; two aunts: Essie Bouier of Dothan, Alabama and Annie Armbrister of Ft. Lauderdale; a devoted friend: Cynthia Crews of Dothan, Alabama; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
