Eugene Stovall was born on August 6, 1934. He was the third child born to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and Rosie Lee Hayden Stovall. He was born in Haleburg, Alabama where he spent his entire life contributing to the community as a farmer. He was a dedicated member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Haleburg where he served as treasurer for many years. Eugene was a devoted member of the Haleburg community for his entire life. He loved the town of Haleburg and took pride in continuing the Stovall legacy in the community throughout his life.Eugene Stovall joined in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Minnie Pearl Fenn on December 31, 1960. Together, they had four children: Terry, Kyle, Gregory, and Christopher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Kyle Steffon Stovall; his older brother, Ceffer Lee Stovall; three brothers-in-law: Albert Fenn, Amos Fenn, and William Fenn; three sisters-in-law: Catherine Harper, Mary Bishop, and Evelyn Green.
Eugene Stovall departed this life on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
He leaves several special loved ones to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Minnie Pearl Fenn Stovall of Abbeville, Alabama; three sons: Terry (Carrie) Stovall of Newville, Alabama, Gregory (Capreta) Stovall of Charleston, South Carolina, and Christopher (Adrianne) Stovall of Dothan, Alabama; fifteen grandchildren: Termaine (Annabelle) Stovall, Zolita Campbell, Omar Stovall, Alisha Stovall, Natasha Stovall, Gregory Stovall, Jr., Cierra Stovall, Consequa Wiggins, Kenneth Wiggins, Kendiya Wiggins, Mathew Wiggins, India Wiggins, Jalian Wiggins, Keeyon Stovall, and Keyanna Stovall; a special niece, Sherryl Stovall Whiting; one sister, Rounette Stovall Fulse of Orlando, FL; two brothers-in-law, Aaron Fenn and James Fenn; and four sisters-in-law, Johnnie Ruth Bond, Lorene Greenlee, Louise McKinley, and Dorothy Harper; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
