Eddie Lee Adams Sr.

Mr. Eddie Lee Adams, Sr. was born to Mr. Henry "Bull" Adams and Mrs. Fannie Mae Williams Adams on June 15, 1944 in Hardaway, Alabama.

He departed this life on May 07, 2018, 10:15 a.m, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. His son, Eddie Lee Adams, Jr. was at his side.

Eddie gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Penile A.M.E Zion Church. As a young man, he moved to Akron, Ohio. Eddie married Eloise Taylor Adams and together they raised three children. Chrysler Motor Company employed Eddie for 37 years. After his retirement, he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. There he worked and retired from Lowes Home  Improvement.

His mother, his father, and the following siblings precesed Eddie in death: Ms. Georgia Lee Adams, Mr. Leamon Adams (Mary), Sr., Mr. James Adams, Mr. Willie James (Frances) Adams, Sr. and Mrs. Marry Lee Adams Stanley.

"Eddie Lee" was a jovial, fun-loving guy. Anyone who spent time around him would spend most of that time laughing. He was kind-hearted and loved by most. His jokes and laughter will be missed. 

Eddie leaves the following to mourn; his children: Eddie Lee Adams, Jr., who resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, Eric Johnson and Rachel Taylor both of Akron, Ohio; his grandson Shayne Ryan Hunnwell, and the following siblings: Ms. Edna Mae Adams, Ms. Rosia Lee Adams, Mrs. Fannie Mae (Wayne) Scott, Ms. Predencie While, all of Clearwater, Florida., and Mrs. Hazel Adams Farmer who resides in Clinton, Maryland.

The nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews are legion. There is a host of people who are already missing "Uncle Eddie".

One of his final wishes is being honored today, he is being laid to rest beside his "Big Brother, Willie James", at the Demascus Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
