Dorothy Stanley

Dorothy Mae Morrison Stanley, age 70, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family Thursday, October 4, 2018. Dorothy was born in Headland, Alabama on June 20, 1948 to the late R C Morrison and Lalar Morrison. 
 

She was an incredible woman with so much strength and depth who loved and nurtured fill of those around her very institute to her loved one needs. She was a woman who never met of stranger and took everyone in as family. 
 

She was preceded in death by her parents: MC and Malar Morrison; her brother: JB Morrison; sister: Redean Morrision and her son: Kenneth Spann.
 

Her loving memories will be cherished and celebrated by her four daughters: Sheila Lee, Tasha Stanley, Harriet Spann, and Markeitha Council; sisters: Martha Morrison, Barbara Stevens, Ruby Edmonds; brother: RC Morrison; seventeen grandchildren's:  Tamara Lee, Konosha Lee, James Lee, Tray Lee, Ronnie Spann, Dirk Stewart, Camelia Stewart, Josh Stewart, Marcus Council, Alexis Council, Gary Corbitt, Jasmine Corbitt, Brittney Corbitt, Zachary Corrbit, Courtney Spann, Kenneth Spann, Sierra Mays; twenty great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
