He was preceded in death by his loving mother: Patricia Dixon; two sisters: Veran Toran and Hazel Mae William all of Beaumont, Texas.
 

He leaves to cherish a loving and devoted wife: Patricia Poke Farris of Dothan, Alabama; one stepson: Cadaruis Poke Austin, Texas; a loving father: Alex Dixion of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters: Nedra Dixion, Vanessa Williams and Earth Gail Dixion all of Beaumont, Texas; seven brothers: Alex Dixion, Sr., Joseph Dixion, Austin Dixion all of Beaumont, Texas; John Wayne Dixion of Purt Author, Texas, and David (Crystal) Taylor, of Dothan, Alabama; mother-in-law: Catherine Poke Rivers (Amos) of Dothan, Alabama; one brother-in-law: Christopher (Carry) Morris of Newville, Alabama; seven sister-in-laws: Elizabeth Perry of Rochester, New York, Sherita (Michael) Harper of Dothan, Alabama, Cassandra Poke (Kevin), Litivia Poke (Paul), Melissa Poke (Chase) all of Dothan, Alabama. Sharon Poke (John) Reeves of Dothan, Alabama, and Kathy Poke (Willie) Cullins of Dothan, Alabama; five god children: Kison, Jericho, Wee, Tay’vionn, and Deshawn all of Dothan, Alabama. D-Ray love his animals and they were like his children: Billy Jean and YoYo; special friends: Butternut, P’one Peezy Babyee, Joe Pasty, Rudy Mondella, Harcel, Mary Wayne, Ready Red, Eric, Terrell, David, EJ, CJ, Johnny, Devonta, Kauilani, Trina, and Ann; his sister from another mother: Tracy Hill; and a  host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
