Cecil Lewis

Cecil L. Lewis a long time resident of Ashford, Alabama passed away February 6, 2019 at her residence after an extended illness. He was 75 years.
 

He was born July 16, 1943 to the late John M. Lewis and the late Perry Lee Lewis. He was employed at Wex Tex for 12 years and later employed at Michelin Tire for twenty-five years until his retirement in 2004.
 

His parents John M. Lewis and Perry Lee Lewis and one sister: Martha Jean Millender preceded him in death.
 

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of fifty-four years: Alma Lois Lewis; one son: Phillip Wayne Lewis of Ashford, Alabama; three daughters: Sandra Denise Lewis of Ashford, Alabama, Regina Renee Galloway (Zaye) and Luegina Renee Williams (Marlon) of Ashford, Alabama; brothers: Ulysses Lewis (Mary) of Dothan, Alabama, John Henry Lewis (Dorothy) of Orange, New Jersey, Ezell Lewis of Dothan, Alabama, Willie Charles Lewis (Geraldine) of Dothan, Alabama, and Willie James Lewis of Webb, Alabama; sisters: Ethel Lee Quinones of Bronx, New York, Arie Bell Calhoun (Roy) of Radcliff, Kentucky, Elouise Washington (E.B.) of Headland, Alabama, Martha Jewel Culver of Dothan, Alabama, Lucille Durry of Ashford, Alabama, and Dorothy Reeves of Ashford, Alabama; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
