Anthonia Sanders

Anthonia “Tony” Sanders, Sr. was born on February 11, 1969 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Willie Frank and the late Catherine Sanders.

At a early age he accepted Christ as his Lord and savior he was a faithful member of North Highland Baptist Church. His belief in God was strong and on March 12th, 2019 when God made his final call and he answered at 7:56 PM at the local hospital after a brief illness.

He was a graduate of the Dothan High Tigers he love going to football games and fishing and watching Monday Night WWE Raw his favorite place to eat was Shoney’s he was a loving and strong minded man. He worked various of job and but driving trucks was his passion.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents: Grady and Alberta Norton, Haliey Sanders and Rosa Lee Williams.

He leaves to cherished his precious loving memories his son: Anthonio Sanders, Jr.; two daughters: Mahagoney Rhodes and Andrea Sanders all of Dothan, Alabama; sister: Belinda Howard (the late J. D. Howard) of Dothan, Alabama; brother: Johnny Rogers of West Palm Beach and Willie (Linda) Rogers of Ashford, Alabama; aunts: Helen Norton of Dothan, Alabama, Sophia Faison of Durham North Carolina and Barbar Brown of Detroit, Michigan; uncle: Kenneth (Edna) Norton of Rochester New York; three grandchildren: Jameel and Akeelah Temmis and Ja’Noviah World; nephews:  Andrew Grady Howard and  John Howard of Dothan, AL; niece: Marshena Rogers of Huntsville, AL; a special friend and the mother of his children: LaTeshia Sander-Jackson; and his best friend: Roy Hogan; and a host of other cousins and friends.
