Annie Pearl Capehart Nix was born November 25, 1957 and the seventh child to the late Arniel Capehart, Sr. and Hazel Mae Capehart. Annie Pearl attended Jackson County Schools and became a graduate of Graceville High School in 1976. She accepted her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 1975 under the late Evangelist Aaron Snipes. In 1979, the Lord called her to preach under the leadership of the late Bishop Nathaniel Pollock. She married her sweetheart Mr. Terry Nix on Saturday, April 26, 1980. Four years later, they had their first child Trevis and NINE years later they had their baby Tabitha. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Holiness Church and later became a member of Gethsemane Church of Christ Written In Heaven. In 2007, Annie was appointed as Assistant Pastor of Gethsemane Church of Christ Written in Heaven. She also held the position as the District Choir President and Union Missionary for the Marianna District for the Church of Christ Written in Heaven. For twenty-five years, she worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and was employed at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.
Her testimony was ‘WON’T HE DO IT!’ She was a true ambassador for Christ and was true example of compassion and love.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Arniel Capehart, Sr. and Hazel Mae Capehart and her sister: Minnie Lee Hogans.
She leaves to cherish her memories and legacy are her dedicated husband of thirty-nine years: Terry Nix; her daughters: Trevis (Namaith) Scott of Taylor, Alabama and Tabitha (Richard) Hunter of Dothan, Alabama; her siblings: Hazel (Ron) Lane of Clearwater, Florida, Lucy Bighem of Louisville, Kentucky, Harry (Lois) Capehart of Saint Rose, Florida, Annie Ruth (Jimmy) of Port Charlotte, Florida, Clydia (Devon) Dickens of Pensacola, Florida, Ona Mae Brizard of Tampa, Florida, Arniel Capehart, Jr. of Graceville, Florida, Havard (Glynis) Capehart of Woodbridge, Virginia and Auria Capehart of Graceville, Florida; her aunts: Metterean Robinson of Graceville, Florida, Janie Capehart of St. Petersburg, Florida and Evelyn Everett of Clearwater, Florida; her dear god children: Constance (Robert) Chunn of Lakeland, Florida, Quentin Holloman of Nashville, Tennessee, Wanya Travis of Tallahassee, Florida and Israel Harrison of Quincy, Florida. Annie had a host of brother-in-law's, sister-in-law's, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives friends that she cherished and loved.
