Sister Mary A. Reynolds was born on June 15, 1930, in Henry County, Alabama to the late J.B Lampley and Rachel Salter Lampley.
At a very early age she joined the Rocky Mount Baptist Church and later moved her membership to First Baptist Church, Newville, Al. She remained a faithful and loyal deaconess under the leadership of Rev. Dr. W.B. Simpson and Reverend Acy Tucker.

Matriarch Mary Reynolds was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the perfect example of love in action. She did not only tell us how much she loved us, but she showed us every day for her whole life. Mom, you were truly a GEM and you will forever shine through your children, grandchildren, and every life you've touched.

She was preceded in death by her husband and "soulmate" of fifty-seven years, Deacon Lloyd Reynolds Jr., sons, Clarence Reynolds, Sr., Kevin Reynolds, grandson Jacobi Reynolds, daughter-in-law Brenda Anthony Reynolds, and daughter-in-law Gloria Jean Reynolds; siblings, Emma Alexander, Robert Lampley, and Willie C. Lampley.

She leaves to cherish in memory, her loving, caring, and devoted children. Rosie (Bessie) Corbitt, James (June) Williams, Tampa Florida, Oscar (Bernestine) Reynolds. Hal Reynolds, Sr., Kenneth Reynolds, Jean Grider, Commissioner Honorable Gregory (Evelyn) Reynolds, Patricia Bradley, all of Newville, Alabama. Brenda Mack, Headland Alabama, Ellen (Kevin) Pace, Tyrone Reynolds, both of Dothan, First Sgt. (Ret) Jeffery (Raquel) Reynolds, Harker Heights, Texas, Diane Dean, Atlanta, Georgia, Beverly Reynolds, Kinsey, Alabama, and Pastor Hal (Nesha) Reynolds, Jr., Ashford, Alabama. A special, loving, and devoted great-granddaughter, Maliyah, Newville, Alabama. A dear, devoted, and loving sister, Kathrine Paterson, Newville, Alabama. Sister-in-laws Ann May and Sarah Reynolds, both of Newville, Alabama. Extended Family, like a son, Johnny Walker, Dothan Alabama. Special Lifetime friend, Sister Annie P. Corbitt and family. Forty-five grandchildren, sixty-three great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
