Mr. Marvette "Bobby" Snell was born on April 8, 1936 in Newville, Alabama to the late Theoplius Sr. and Willie Mae Skipper Snell.

He joined Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He departed this life on March 24, 2017 at Wesley Place Nursing Home, Dothan, Alabama.

Along with his parents "Bobby" were preceded in death by a child, Wendell Snell; six brothers: Theoplius Bud Snell, Jr., Samuel Lugene, Robert, Jerry and David Snell; four sisters: Earline and Aretha Snell, Emma McCloud and Jeanette Ausby (his twin sister); and two grandchildren: Lafayette Snell, Jr., and Bennie Ray Graham.

Loving survivors: faithful friend for many years, Ms. Teresia Daniel and Johnny Daniel, stepson: daughters: Leisa Beacham (Lloyd) of Headland, Alabama and Barbara Brown (Tyrone) of Dothan, Alabama; two sons: Felix Snell of Montgomery, Alabama and Lafayette Snell, Sr.; a brother: Luscious Snell of Graceville, Florida; a sister: Othell Anthony of Birmingham, Alabama; faithful nephew: Gregory Snell; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three special friends of the family: Angela Pride, Eddie Thomas and Mrs. Ann; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
