Mr. David Ward was born on May 4, 1949 in Houston County to the Johnnie and Emma Nora Ward.

David accepted Christ at an early age and graduated at the Houston County School System.

He preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Donald R. Ward and mother-in-law: Beatrice Davis.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories a beloved and devoted wife for forty-eight years: Mary Jean Ward of Dothan; two sons: David L. Ward and Tracy B. (Loretha) Ward of Dothan, Alabama; two grandchildren: Gabrielle Ward and Christian Ward; two sisters: Corine Holland of Cottonwood, Alabama and Annie Laura of Asbury Park, New Jersey; three brothers: John H. Ward of Cottonwood, Alabama, Billy R. Ward of Dothan, Alabama and Curtis E. Ward of Cottonwood, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
